From First Nations chefs to our newest Australians, Secret Recipes takes us on a journey of welcome and belonging, through our experience of food.

Join us during Adelaide Fringe 2021, as we explore shared traditions and new stories, while indulging in a mouth-watering meal, with friends old and new.

In the 2021 Fringe Season, Secret Recipes will host three immersive cultural experiences that explore shared traditions and new stories, while indulging in a mouth-watering meal. 

Dates: 

  • 27 February – our first Secret Recipes experience will be led by First Nations chefs exploring native foods
  • 6 Marchan established migrant community restaurant will host the next journey, exploring Ethiopian cuisine
  • 20 Marcha refugee-run family business will finish the season, exploring Persian cuisine

Previous Events

In 2018, 2019 and 2020 the event was known as Refugee Stories, Secret Recipes and Dinner. Each season has been sold out.
