Every August, Queensland celebrates the people, cultures and communities that make Queensland shine. This year’s celebration is about bringing people together through food, music, art, sport and community events. Across Queensland, everyone is invited to connect and celebrate the many cultures and communities that contribute to our way of life. Multicultural Queensland Month is an opportunity to recognise the contributions people from all backgrounds make to Queensland. It’s also a chance to celebrate the Queensland spirit—open, welcoming, and proud of where we live.
For Multicultural Queensland Month, Welcoming Australia is excited to be partnering with the Queensland Government to deliver a range of activities throughout Multicultural Queensland Month.
Together, we’ll be supporting regional communities through community events, sporting activations and a free webinar series designed to inspire practical action and celebrate what unites Queenslanders.
Our webinars bring together recognised leaders from across sport, recreation, employment and community development to explore how we can create more welcoming clubs, workplaces and communities where everyone belongs and thrives.
We hope you’ll join us for these engaging conversations and share them with your colleagues and networks. Register below!
