Overview
Campfire Stories is a regular event on the Welcoming Australia calendar in Melbourne and close surrounds.
Campfire Stories brings together people that have lived experience of the refugee journey, with people in the community that may have never had the opportunity to meet or hear from someone with this experience. Using the medium of storytelling around a campfire, our speakers share their experiences over a mug of hot chai and toasted marshmallows. This event supports the sharing of our connected humanity, while celebrating diversity and amplifying diverse and inclusive voices.
Campfire stories is generously funded by the Victorian State Government via a Community Harmony Grant.
