Support for Rashid and Taslima
Mohammad Rashid is the last refugee living in Phnom Penh following Australia’s deal with Cambodia.
Rashid and his wife, a fellow Rohingya whom he met in Cambodia, have just welcomed their first child. While Roshid had managed to start a small business as a street vendor, even before the COVID-19 crisis he was struggling. It was barely realistic before a global health crisis to make a living from their small roti sidewalk stand. Throughout the Coronavirus pandemic, generous donors have supported the family, covering survival costs and medical costs for the pregnancy.
We are so encouraged by so many incredible examples of people’s generosity in the midst of personal hardship.
With a new baby, Rashid and Taslima still need your support!
Please make sure to include “Rashid” in the comments.
